Tudor Childhood - Exhibition Script

The text below was from my graduate course in scriptwriting. I wanted to focus my exhibition on my previous senior thesis research, but find a way to make it more child friendly. This exhibition looks at the differences between the life of a child in the 16th century versus the 21st century, with label written specifically for children. The Prodigal Daughter Returns - Senior Thesis

This thesis was the final accomplishment of a nearly two year project. Since my sophomore year of college I had been fascinated with Henry VIII and his relationships with his children. Focusing on the relationship between Henry VIII and his eldest daughter Princess Mary, the paper also explores the relationships between Henry and his other children. These relationships were tumultuous to say the least, but ended on mostly good terms. For an unwatermarked version please contact me directly.

Portrait Miniatures - Liberal Arts Symposium Presentation

This paper was for the Juniata College Liberal Arts Symposium. My topic was part of the three years of portrait miniature research I completed for the exhibition β€œThe Art & Science of Portrait Miniatures.” This particular presentation focused on the history of portrait miniatures as well as an attempt to determine a provenance for some miniatures in the Juniata College Museum of Art collection. For an unwatermarked version please contact me directly.
